La Mauricie National Park is northwest of Quebec City; not quite at the end of the road but it feels that way. For several days, we were part of a small band of late season campers enjoying wildlife, vistas and trails, and spectacular fall colors. The park occupies the boundary between the southern hardwood and northern spruce forests of Quebec and encompasses more than 150 lakes. No cell signal or internet connections here, so our postings are somewhat delayed.
